Oxford House is a concept in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. In its simplest form, an Oxford House describes a democratically run, self-supporting and drug free home.
The number of residents in a House may range from six to fifteen; there are houses for men, houses for women, and houses which accept women with children.

My daughter resided at the women’s Morehead KY house for 32 days. They deposited $550.00 in money orders that I had paid for. M was kicked out for valid reasons. I spoke to JB about an envelope with another money order that she promised to send back to us along with some cash. Instead, she deposited the additional money order and stole the cash in the envelope. I have invested $750.00 in money orders that the Oxford House has deposited. I tried working this out with EE and she is unwilling to send back the $230.00 the Oxford House owes me. Sounds to me like this is a PROFIT organization with no real bookkeeping organization. I have sent copies of the money orders to info@oxfordhouse.org
